Defining Your Investment Mandate: Ticket Size, Horizon, Risk and Liquidity

Why precision pays

A mandate that says open to anything is hard to act on. A clear mandate tells our investor relations team exactly which opportunities to present, and which to leave out.

Ticket size

State both a minimum and a maximum. Our minimum ticket is USD 100,000. A realistic range, for example USD 500,000 to USD 2 million, helps us identify both direct opportunities and club deals where your allocation fits.

Investment horizon

Match your horizon to your real needs. Senior private credit typically runs three to five years. Real estate and infrastructure often need five to ten years or more. Committing capital beyond your true horizon creates liquidity pressure later.

Return profile

Choose between fixed income, equity-linked, blended, capital preservation and absolute return strategies. Higher target returns come with higher risk and usually longer lock-ups. Be honest about the net return you are targeting.

Risk tolerance and drawdown

Your stated risk tolerance and your maximum acceptable drawdown should be consistent. An investor who selects a growth profile but cannot accept a 10% drawdown is sending mixed signals.

Liquidity

Private market strategies are generally less liquid than listed assets. If you may need access to capital monthly or quarterly, say so. We will focus on strategies with suitable redemption terms.

Asset classes and preferences

Select the asset classes that interest you, such as corporate debt, real estate, infrastructure or digital assets, and add geographic focus, ESG requirements, leverage tolerance and any sector or country exclusions.

Distributions and reporting

Indicate whether you prefer income to be distributed or reinvested, and how often you require reporting.
