01Regulatory Status
First Horizon Investment and Loan Group is a financial intermediary domiciled in Geneva, Switzerland. As a financial intermediary under Art. 2 para. 3 of the Swiss Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA), the firm operates under the parameters of a self-regulatory organisation (SRO) recognised by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).
First Horizon Investment and Loan Group is not a bank within the meaning of the Swiss Banking Act and does not accept public deposits. Membership of an SRO does not constitute prudential supervision by FINMA.
02Anti-Money Laundering Framework
We apply risk-based due diligence to every client relationship, including:
- Verification of the identity of the contracting party and establishment of the beneficial owner
- Clarification of the source of funds and the economic background of transactions
- Screening against Swiss (SECO), EU, UN and OFAC sanctions lists and PEP databases
- Ongoing transaction monitoring and reporting obligations to MROS where required
03Client Classification under FinSA
In accordance with the Swiss Financial Services Act (FinSA), clients are classified as retail, professional or institutional. Investment opportunities presented through this website are directed exclusively at professional and institutional clients and qualified investors under the Collective Investment Schemes Act (CISA).
04Risk Disclosures
Investing in and lending to corporates involves significant risk, including the potential loss of the entire amount invested. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.
- Credit risk: borrowers may default on interest or principal obligations
- Liquidity risk: private debt and equity positions may be difficult to exit
- Currency risk: exchange rate movements may affect returns in the reference currency
- Digital asset risk: crypto-assets are highly volatile and subject to evolving regulation
05Conflicts of Interest
We maintain a conflicts of interest policy designed to identify, prevent and manage conflicts arising between the firm, its employees and its clients. Where conflicts cannot be avoided, they are disclosed to the affected clients before any service is rendered.
06Complaints & Ombudsman
Complaints may be submitted in writing to our Legal & Compliance department at Cours des Bastions 13, 1205 Genève, Switzerland or by email to [email protected]. Clients may also refer disputes to a recognised Swiss ombudsman office in accordance with Art. 74 FinSA.
07Fraud Warning
First Horizon never requests upfront fees by email or telephone to release financing, and never asks for passwords or private keys. If you receive a suspicious communication using our name, please contact us immediately via the official details on this website.
